The Luxembourg Competition Authority took part in the 50th European Competition Day

The Luxembourg Competition Authority, represented by its Senior legal advisor Serge Sandt, participated in the European Competition Day (ECD) organised by the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the EU in Budapest, on 21-22 October.

During the ECD, the participants addressed several topics:

  • With the first panel: Twenty years of EU competition law in Hungary
  • With the second panel: DMA and competition law
  • With the third panel: Al and competition law
  • Thematic speech: Sustainability and Antitrust

The next European Competition Day will be held on 26 May 2025 in Warsaw.

About the European Competition Day

The European Competition Day is a conference organised during each Presidency of the Council of the European Union and which gathers representatives of European competition authorities, the European Commission, ministries, politicians, companies, and experts in the field of competition policy. It aims at raising awareness of the importance and impact of competition advocacy on the economy and society.
