ONLINE PLATFORMS
Hate speech, child pornography, sale of counterfeit goods: what is illegal offline is also illegal online… but platforms do not have complete control over your content.
- An online marketplace offers prohibited products (firearms, drugs, etc.);
- A social media platform spreads hate speech;
- A platform disseminates material depicting the sexual abuse of children;
- A platform displays adverts based on the profiling of minors, etc.
- My account has been hidden (shadow banned);
- My account has been deleted for no reason;
- I am unable to report illegal content;
- An e-commerce site refuses to remove prohibited products;
- A platform is preventing me from changing its content recommendations, etc.
