Online platforms
Since 2021, the Authority has been responsible for ensuring compliance with Regulation (EU) 2019/1150 on relationships between online platforms and their business users ('Platform to Business' or 'P2B'). In this context, it defends the collective interests of business users of online platforms and search engines.
Since 2023, the Authority has helped the European Commission, as and when required, to ensure compliance by gatekeepers with Regulation (EU) 2022/1925 on digital markets (Digital Markets Act - DMA).
Finally, since 2024, the Authority has been responsible for governing platforms for a safe online environment following the entry into force of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on digital services (Digital Services Act - DSA). In this context, it now acts as coordinator for digital services in Luxembourg.
